Dream A Little Dream: Tintin

I did fell in love with the movie Adventures of Tintin when it came out and I would have watched it for the 3rd time in the theater had it not have ran out of screen time. I knew Tintin way before he was a movie. I read his comic books that belonged to my sisters which was in Bahasa Indonesia. At the time he was simply a character drawn in 2D with a dog that has entertaining thoughts.

Once he popped out in the movie, he was much more than a character, he was Tintin, the man Tintin. Oddly enough, it took me several months before I finally dreamt of him.

I was at an abandoned house along with a man who is apparently my friend. We were searching for a girl who's been having trouble and we were helping her look for something. At some point we were looking at her dog or at her pet. It was quite vague what animal we were looking for but from what I could remember, the missing animal had something to do with a dead person. We knew someone was dead but we didn't see any body. We searched around and eventually we found it and we brought what we found to the person that looked like the mother.

She was going to let us stay longer but then we remembered that we left a dog (that in my mind became Snowy) and a goldfish at home. Apparently we've left the house for days now and we didn't assign anyone to feed them so we got really worried and decided to ride a motorcycle home.

Unfortunately it was raining but it didn't matter. We rode the motorbike anyway and my friend suddenly became Tintin in his signature blue sweater and I rode behind him. Because the road was really slippery due to the rain, I had to hold on tight and I wrapped my arms around him. It felt nice and squee!!

Things suddenly changed and suddenly we were at another place that looked a bit similar to where we were from. This time I was seeing through the eyes of Tintin and it was the time when we just found the item/animal that the girl was looking for and instead of following me and the girl outside of the room, he stayed inside and began searching for the dead man's body.

He found the body underneath a broken wood flooring and turned it around to see what really killed him. At this point, Tintin was looking down, concentrating on searching for clues and he didn't see that someone was behind him and whacked his head, causing him to lose consciousness. I didn't know that he was hidden underneath that floorboard so I wondered where Tintin went but no one around could tell me where he was.

I went around and searched for him, even went into the room where he was hidden at but there was no way for me to know that he was unconscious. In the end I woke up without finding where mickey was.

I was left with the feeling of longing again and suddenly I was overwhelmed with the aching feeling of wanting to see Tintin or watch the movie again. My head is filled with the thought of Tintin's girlfriend. Of course there wasn't any time in the book I've read that hinted an existence for a love interest / female character that's Tintin's age. All the characters he met in comic books are mostly only for that story and even if they do appear in other comics they're mostly guys with the exclusion of the lovely opera singer.

This made me imagine what it would be like if Tintin were to be my boyfriend / if he were to have a girlfriend. It's much more fun if I get to imagine myself being the girlfriend though. So I'll leave my thought to wonder how Tintin and I get together and what kind of boyfriend he would be.
